Karang Bolong beach is located in the Karangbolong Village, District Buayan, Kebumen Regency. Approximately 18 km to the south of the city Gombong.

Yap, almost same with the Menganti Beach and Srati Beach, Karang Bolong beach is also surrounded by coral hills. But in the middle you will find a broad sloping beach similar as Logending Beach, but in more narrow size.
Besides the sloping sand, you can also enjoy a wide meadow. If you visit this beach with friends or your family, you can enjoy relaxing in a stretch of grass which is also overgrown with coconut trees. you can chat or play with here

The beach is very famous for its Swallow bird's nest. These nests produced by swallows bird which inhabit the caves located around the Karang Bolong beach. This is both a unique and characteristic of Karang Bolong beach is not owned other beaches in Kebumen.This is a on of the unique characteristic from Karang Bolong beach that not owned by other beaches in Kebumen.

There are 3 (three) caves where swallow birds live. The places is in the Pasir Cave, Karangduwur Cave and Karangbolong Cave. you can meet a diorama that showing while swallow's nest taken. This diorama illustrates how people harvest the bird nests in the high walls of the cave. Lawet nest has many benefits, its can be used to mix with food, or used for Indonesian and Chinesse tradisional medicine. The bird's nest is believed to cure various kinds of diseases

The east coast, there is a rock that leaning into the sea. Above this rock there is some sort gazebo or a relaxing place. While in the east of this place, you can see Banda River Estuary, which limits the Karangbolong and Suwuk Beach. Yes, very gently sloping Suwuk Beach.

Well next to the North, we will see a big hole on the coral reef. Yes, that is the hallmark of Karangbolong beach. At low tide, we can see a small and beautiful beach. Well, at Karang Bolong beach, you can also hire a boat to get around the beach from offshore to enjoy two different beaches face, Suwuk Beach and Karangbolong beach itself, with its beauty and enchantment their own.
In these places have available sufficient parking, food stalls, places to stay and other supporting facilities like a mosque and a toilet. Anyway the facility, Karangbolong beach is not much different from the Suwuk Beach as its neighbour :D
